Who We Are

Quad Connect is a team devoted to promoting campus life by supporting student engagement and community development.  We believe that the college experience is filled with untapped value that can be lost via word of mouth and we want to be the medium to connect students to this value.  We are a group of Washington University in St. Louis students, committed to revolutionizing the way university information is promoted and received.

What We Do

Quad Connect is an online social platform that increases the transparency of campus life.  We provide a real-time model of the offline college experience by allowing easy promotion of events, groups, and information.  We help students and faculty organize their daily schedules, publicize important information, and collaborate on projects.  We help parents, pre-freshmen, and alumni understand the college experience and learn about important college information and events.  Finally, we help colleges understand what students, faculty, parents, and others care about by providing metrics based on users’ engagement with our site.

Why We Do It

Research shows that involvement in college community life is a crucial component for student development.  However, the current tools for supporting this development are undernourished.  We believe that the college community is filled with passionate people willing to share what they know to support the whole.  We believe Quad Connect can be the medium for this community-building exchange.
